"The Chess Dream"

Hi, my name is Phillip Green. I’m waiting for the afterschool bell to ring like always 5…4…3…2…1. Hooray! Class has finally finished. And now I can finally do my favorite thing-play chess. Me and my best friends Love to play chess and in school they Love some girls, But I think it’s silly, really silly. So I mostly Love to play chess and not Love girls. Yes! Finally, I’m in chess stadium.

I began to play about a year ago and I tought it was realy fun. Once our coach, Mr. Spikes told us the legend about chess: There was a war in India back long time ago and was also a King in India, he was not happy when he saw the war was going on an on.

So King was thinking that there shall be a Peaceful war, then King ask wisemen to make a board game instead of real war. Wiseman named the piece King after the King and the piece Queen after the Queen and other pieces after King’s Army. And we use those names now.

Owh, I’m sorry, only chess players did you know that game of chess is over 2000 years old. There are 16 pieces for each of two players. There are white pieces and black pieces on a board with 64 square and each one has a name: Like Be 5-stands to Bishop E five, O.K. If you know this don’t complain, chess players.

I almost forgot I want to know what chess team you are on, because I want to play you right this minute or even second. See you!

Please remember my name-Phillip Green.
