Public Radio 88 FM informs that the very much awaited sets of HD Radio promised to our Prime Circle members who contributed during our latest membership campaign have arrived to our studio building in Harlingen. Please contact our Prime Circle coordinator, Norma Garcia, at 956-421-4111 to coordinate the pick up or delivery of your HD Radio set.

Texas Matters is a locally produced news show that spends half an hour each week looking at the issues, newsmakers and culture of Texas. The locally produced program features co-hosts David Martin Davies and Yvette Benavides. The husband and wife team talk directly with policymakers and newsmakers in a lively discussion designed to shed light on issues too often overlooked by other media.

Talkin' Jazz is a two-minute feature that includes music, narrative segments, and recorded interviews on the topic of jazz. Listen each day for a little taste of jazz history, stories about compositions or recording sessions, and anecdotes from the artists themselves. The program details the influences and origins of some of jazz’s legendary musicians and performances – and shows us why the music is relevant to us today.
