Once upon a time, there was a boy named Luqui who was six years old, he was in first grade and loved to play soccer. Luqui, had his favorite food which by the way he dreamt about all the time, delicious glazed donuts. However, only on Saturday mornings, the donuts were brought to be taken home.
That day was Wednesday and Luqui was thinking: “Only three more days to eat my delicious donuts.”
On Thursday, one of Luqui’s friends, George, invited him to play at his house on Saturday morning and Luqui thought: “What am I going to do if Saturday is donut day for me?” Luqui was worried about what could happen.
On Friday Luqui was so worried that he could not even kick his soccer ball.
At last, it was Saturday and after giving it a lot of thought, Luqui decided to go play at George’s house. So, he put his skates on and took off.
And what was his surprise, George’s mom had bought glazed donuts! Luqui jumped up and down and said: “Thank you for buying my favorite food.” George’s mom, George and Luqui smiled at each other and cheerfully ate the “glazed donuts.”
