The shows are broadcast free of charge as part of KMBH's educational mission.

The shows airs Mondays at 5 PM and Thursdays at 8 PM.

Educational Partnership

Partnership Goals:

• to initiate a partnership between RGV Educational Broadcasting Inc. and South Texas schools
  
  
• to provide programming that serves the educational needs of the Rio Grande Valley,
  
  
• to promote educational productions done at the school district and university level through valley-wide airing, and
  
  
• to research and acquire funding sources that will back the educational partnership financially

History

The Educational Partnership debuted on August 5, 1997 with a live Back to School special. The initial schedule included a half-hour of programming each week, which included a local news show, a parenting course, and GED classes.

The partnership continues to this day with a local news segment on Mondays at 5 PM and Thursdays at 8 PM.
